BioThe Azure Dragon is one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations. It is sometimes called the Azure Dragon of the East.
Qinglong has had several incarnations, most notably the rebellious general Shan Xiongxin and the Liao Dynasty's prince He Suwen. In both of these incarnations, he has been at odds with his opposite among the signs, the White Tiger, Byakko.
His most commonly used avatar is that of He Suwen. He is proud and easily provoked. However, once he is earned as a friend, a difficult task, he is loyal to a fault. Betray him, and... Well. Not many people have lived to say what happens to those. His own views of loyalty are very egocentric, as are many of his views. He is arrogant, but that does not make him incapable of caring for others... just unlikely to admit that he does so. He is connected to the element of wood and the season of spring. As such, he is passionate about protecting the environment, mostly the flora. However, he has been known to, every so often, help animals in distress, though he tends to leave that to the White Tiger.
